- Bot setup data such as business name, website URL, uploaded documents, links you train on, and configuration choices.
- Chat data such as visitor questions, bot answers, timestamps, and handoff/contact requests.
- Basic product analytics, device information, and usage events that help us understand reliability and improve the product.
- Payment-related status from our checkout provider. We do not store full card numbers on bot4U servers.
How we use data
- To create and manage your account, bots, subscriptions, and website assistant settings.
- To train your assistant on the content you provide and answer visitor questions from that knowledge.
- To improve product quality, fix bugs, prevent abuse, and understand which features are useful.
- To contact you about support, billing, security, or important product updates.
Services we use
- bot4U uses trusted infrastructure and tools for hosting, authentication, database storage, payments, analytics, and AI processing.
- Depending on your setup, your content or visitor questions may be processed by AI providers so the assistant can generate answers.
- Analytics tools may collect product usage events, but we aim to keep this limited to what helps us improve the service.
Your choices
- You control the websites, links, documents, and instructions you add to your bot.
- You can update or remove bot training content from your workspace.
- You can contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of account data, subject to legal and security requirements.
Retention and security
- We keep account, bot, billing, and chat data while it is needed to provide the service, resolve support issues, meet legal requirements, or protect the product.
- We use reasonable technical safeguards, but no online service can promise perfect security.
- Do not upload sensitive personal, financial, medical, or confidential data unless you have the right to use it with bot4U.
